Heel wat scholen zijn momenteel op zoek naar Vlaamse partnerscholen. Hieronder vind je een overzicht van al deze scholen. Het gaat om basis- en secundaire scholen (incl. BuSO) die partners zoeken voor uitwisselings-, Comenius-, Grundtvig- en Leonardo da Vinci-projecten.

SUMMARY OF THE COMENIUS- SCHOOL ASSOCIATION PROJECT PROPOSAL "COMMUNICATING THROUGH ART"

Our project, addressed to 6th grade students (11-12 year olds), focuses on developing the communication competence of our pupils and improving their creativity and innovation skills. We aim to share our culture with the other participating schools in the project by giving our pupils an insight into their own culture and those of others focusing on plastic arts.
Each school will focus on a local artist to share their findings with the other schools as well as to propose them a specific work on plastic arts related to that artist. Through these works the schools will further investigate about the other artists and thus the diversity of European cultures and will give shape to their findings in a creative and innovative way, through plastic arts. Thus, students will become actors of their own learning process, based on meaningful contents.
New Technologies will be our project main support, making communication possible. Through the projects’ blog, the students will exchange information about their own cultural framework as well as the cultural background and the artworks of the artist selected. Through this communication platform, a follow-up of the projects’ progress will also be made. Different ICT means will be used to enhance communication among our students, both in a synchronous and asynchronous way.
In order to share the outcomes of the project with a broader audience and to involve in this project the local authorities, an itinerary exhibition will be created with artworks of students of the three participating schools. This exhibition will be exposed in the three schools as well as in local libraries/ cultural centres of the participating countries.
As for the linguistic dimension of the project, through this project English will be included in our Art lessons and will become the vehicle of expression and communication.
All our school community is involved in our project and committed to participate in this multicultural proposal to improve our students’ knowledge and skills.

Our school is the secondary school in Mažeikiai, Lithuiania. The students are of different ages: from 6 to 19 years old. There are about 700 students and 70 teachers this year. We haven’t taken part in such projects so far. But we are very enthusiastic in trying. We bare looking for partners within the Comenius partnership framework, we’d be pleased to join your project or maybe you will like some ideas from our proposal presented below:

Call for the Comenius project
The main areas of working would be the students with different needs, including either the most gifted students, the students with some different types of disabilities or the students with social problems.
The aim of this project will be reached by student and teacher co-operation involving students with special needs, gifted or disabled ones.
Our ideas to realize the project are as follows:
- every participating school prepares performances about traditional feasts, holidays, including songs, dances, games, dishes, costumes, national traditions;
- the students and teachers of each team present their traditions ( songs, cooking technology, dances, traditional games) to other participants;
- each team produces the teaching material on the methods of creating motivation working with the students of special needs which could be used in these schools (with a common copyright);
- the meetings at local schools should be arranged (providing the participations of students from each country). The meetings should be agreed about the time, countries and number of students and teachers;
- presentations such as cooking methods, traditions should be performed in English
- the product of the project ought to be a small bilingual dictionary recorded on CD
(everyday phrases and the most useful words, some examples of proverbs or idioms should be translated into English and languages of all participating countries; the soundtrack and video should be recorded if possible, for example, each participant records the soundtrack in mother tongue, the performance of traditional dance and song, pictures of traditional dishes, costumes, famous landmarks, etc.).
We are open to any other ideas and suggestions.

Comenius Regiopartnerschap
Dr Meryl James is a Modern Languages Support Officer at Perth and Kinross Council in Scotland. The council is currently looking for a European partner to work with in the development of an exciting new Comenius Regio Partnership.
The project will last for two years and involve the local authority, several schools and an outside partner. It will set out to improve literacy skills and enhance modern language learning. There will be a specific focus on later primary and early secondary school teaching with the themes of a Curriculum for Excellence which have become the responsibility of all teachers in Scotland. This includes literacy, numeracy, health and wellbeing (diet, fitness, sport, relaxation techniques, etc).

Partnerfinding uitwisselingsproject
Nederlandse secundaire school zoekt Vlaamse partnerschool
Het Christelijke College Groevenbeek zoekt voor dit schooljaar en voor in de toekomst een partnerschool in België.
Groevenbeek is een middelbare school voor het Havo en het Atheneum in Ermelo, een kleine, rustige stad niet ver van Utrecht en Amsterdam. Sinds jaren organiseert de school uitwisselingen in de 3e klassen. Leerlingen zijn tussen 14 en 15 jaar oud. De hele klas gaat mee.
Het doel van de uitwisseling is een opening op Europa, een betere kennis van een buurland en het ontwikkelen van sociale vaardigheden door samen aan een project te werken.
Het globale kader van een uitwisseling ziet er zo uit :
1. De leerlingen leren elkaar via brief of e-mail kennen.
2. Nederlandse leerlingen maken een videobrief om klas, school en omgeving voor te stellen.
3. De uitwisseling duurt van maandag t/m vrijdag, een week in Nederland en een week in België.
4. De begeleiders van de klas kiezen met elkaar en met de leerlingen een gemeenschappelijk thema waar er tijdens de twee weken gewerkt wordt.
5. Er is een zichtbaar resultaat van het gemeenschappelijk project. Te denken valt aan een krant, een powerpoint presentatie voor een ouderavond, een kunstwerk voor de school etc.
6. Meestaal wordt Amsterdam het doel van de excursiedag.
7. Er worden ook ontspanningsmomenten georganiseerd (sportmiddag, barbecueavond).

Natuurlijk zijn de begeleiders voor andere suggesties open.

The infant and primary school Ramón Gaya situated in the district of Santomera, in the city of Murcia (Region of Murcia) in Spain is working on a Comeniusproject.
The project is aimed to acquire values and healthy habits by creating a music group: 'The Feel- Good- Band'. This group of students will travel around Europe in order to share their values, culture and healthy habits, learning from other countries too.

The centre counts with 34 teachers and 146 pupils in Infant School and 251 ones in Primary School, with a total of 397 students up to 20 different nationalities: Spanish, Bulgarian, Rumanian, Russian, Polish, English, French, Ecuadorean, Brazilian, Colombian, Bolivian, Argentinian, Chilean, Chinese, Moroccan, Algerian, German, Peruvian, Portuguese and Ukrainian.

I’m Jana Herrero, a biology and geology teacher with 25 years of experience. I have been in the Centro Integrado for 9 years and I’ve always been interested in centers of other countries and different cultures.
We work in a High School where students from 12 to 17 years old study the compulsory subjects of the curriculum and professional education on music at the same time.
We are interested in sharing our experiences of teaching children with these skills with others teachers and of course, we are also interested in knowing, in a deeper way, traditions, customs, literature, history, music, art, sports from other countries. The School is set in San Lorenzo de El Escorial in Madrid, its name is Centro integrado de Musica Padre Antonio Soler.
Currently we are working in several different projects, one of them is The open mornings in order to make musical studies easier for the students during the school timetable.

Our center is an Official Conservatoire, a public educational centre of Music in Almansa, in the region of Castilla-La Mancha, close to the Mediterranean side. We would like to start a multilateral Comenius project to stimulate the importance of Music and Arts, especially the music composed and interpreted at the time of the European Sucession war (approximately 1680-1730), a time when different schools and composers left the most important musical legacy in the whole Europe. Partnerfinding Comenius BuSO
Een Turkse school uit Burdur is op zoek naar Vlaamse partners voor een Comeniusproject. Ze hebben reeds een school gevonden uit Groot-Brittannië. Het gaat om een BuSO school niveau OV2, die een serieuze standaard haalt in hun onderwijs voor BuSO leerlingen. Het is dan ook een school die 23 jaar geleden startte als privé-initiatief en aanzien wordt als voorbeeld voor andere Turkse BuSo scholen.

Comenius partnerfinding SO
We are looking for partners for a new proposal for a Comenius project on the theme of music. This is a project for lower secondary schools (age range 12 to 16). The lead partner school is in Norway and we already have interested partners from England, Scotland and provisional interest from Denmark.
We should like to publicise this project further, because we are looking for schools in France, Belgium and the Netherlands (also more interest from Denmark) to join the project. There is a preparatory meeting planned on 12-14 January in Norway.

We are teachers of physics in Aydinlikevler Anatolian High School. Our school is an academic state high school for students who have high academic success. Our students are distinguished by a national exam.

I am graduate from Poland interested in doing an internship/training within the Leonardo da Vinci programme. My sending organization would be my home University. I'm looking now for an organization abroad willing to cooperate with me. My field of studies is strongly connected to ecological and nature protection issues and I would like to find organization working with these aspects. I'm interested in Belgian/Flemish organizations. Are you able to help me somehow with providing the information on where I could search for Flemish organizations already experienced with Leonardo da Vinci programme? Or generally organizations interested in receiving foreign interns? I would be very thankful if you could help me somehow, give me some ideas where I could search. I am a member of a music association in TURKEY and we want to be a partner of a Grundtvig Project.
• Our aim is to disseminate turkish art music by the help of live chorus and solo performances with our instrument performers.
