Feest van Europa
Jaarlijks vieren de Europese instellingen in Brussel het "Feest van Europa", naar aanleiding van de Dag van Europa op 9 mei. Ook Ryckevelde vzw is steeds van de partij met een educatieve en tegelijk ludieke actie.
Voor 2012 staat de campagne 'vrij op 9 mei' centraal: Een online petitie voor een officiële vrije dag op 9 mei. Voorbijgangers poseren bovendien voor onze levensgrote kalender met vakantie-attributen en krijgen de foto mee naar huis. Teken de petitie op www.vrijop9mei.be

Festival of Europe
The European Institutions celebrate the 'Festival of Europe' every year in the week of 9 May, Europe Day.
The Ryckevelde action for the Festival of Europe 2012 is our campaign for an official day off on 9 May: '9 May, a holiday'. Visitors posed in front of a huge calendar with 9 May indicated as holiday. They dressed up with holiday attributes. Sign the online petition on www.vrijop9mei.be (in Dutch).
